Take a walk through the Recoleta neighbourhood and visit the Evita Museum on this Evita tour of Buenos Aires - find out all about this historical character!
Evita Museum Buenos Aires
At 3:15 pm we'll meet in the Recoleta neighbourhood at 1557 Calle Posadas. This building, which is now a hotel, was the first apartment where Eva lived in Buenos Aires. This is where the story begins.
We'll stroll through the beautiful streets of this neighbourhood that will guide us through the life of the incredible Eva Perón, one of the most loved figures of Argentina. She arrived in the capital of Argentina to pursue a career as an actress and began to work in theatre and radio. When she met Colonel Perón, however, her career path took a turn from actress to activist.
As we stand in front of her memorial, we'll recognise how she fought for the rights of the most underprivileged members of society and for women. A tour of her life would not be complete without passing by Channel 7, on which her famous last speech was broadcasted live. We'll pay tribute to Evita as we stand before her grave and remember her untimely death.
After this walk through the life of Eva Perón, we'll hop on a bus and head to the Evita Museum. A timeline from her arrival in Buenos Aires to her early death at the age of 33. You'll be able to see photos, her original dresses and other audiovisual materials.
We'll finish the tour at the Evita Museum at 6:15 pm.
