Options

When making your reservation, we will offer you the option of choosing between just the show or including the dinner and a tango class, or wine tasting, before the show. Both options include transport direct from your hotel.

Show

The Gala Tango show takes place in the neighborhood of San Telmo which, being one of the oldest in Buenos Aires, is considered as the cradle of tango. For an hour and half of the show, you will enjoy an orchestra formed by a sextet and two tango singers, who will treat you to traditional folk songs while four couples dance to the rhythm of the music. Besides tango, you will also witness a performance of bolas and charango.

The show will also be accompanied by a choice of champagne and wine from one of the most exclusive wineries in Argentina, water, soft drink, and coffee.

If you want the most comprehensive experience of this event, we offer you an option which includes dinner before the show.

The menu which is offered in Gala Tango consists of different hot or cold starters, a choice of eight different main courses, a large variety of desserts, and coffee or tea. This authentic gourmet à la carte is accompanied by wines from one of the most exclusive wineries of Buenos Aires.

To capture the moment forever, you will receive a free professional photograph, making an unforgettable memory of your dinner and show.

Show and dinner + tango class

Why just watch the tango when you can also experience it for yourself? When you choose this option, before dinner and the show, you will also be treated to a tango class in which you will learn the most famous moves of the quintessential Argentine dance. Later, you can raise a toast to your new skills with a glass of Champagne or delicious Argentine wine. There is also water, soft drinks, and coffee available.

With this option, before dinner and the show, you will enjoy a delicious wine tasting from the best Argentine wineries. Dinner will also be accompanied by Champagne, water, soft drinks, and coffee.

Gala Tango

Gala Tango is one of the most exclusive places in Buenos Aires to enjoy an authentic Argentine folklore show. With painstaking décor and architecture down to the finest detail, it seems as though you have stepped into the 1930s, helping to create an experience that you will never forget.

Hotel collection and times

This activity includes collection and transport from hotels in the center of Buenos Aires and the neighborhood of Palermo. If you are staying outside this zone, you must attend Gala Tango directly at least 15 minutes in advance of the start time.
